More than 3,000 people gathered at the Shincheonji Word Seminar held in Jeonju on the 9th, once again demonstrating its remarkable influence.
An unprecedented “festival of the Word” transcending denominations and church affiliations was held in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, a city long regarded as the foundation of conservative theology in Korea.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Lee Man-hee), successfully held the “2026 Shincheonji Word Seminar” at the Jeonju Church of the Thomas Tribe at 2 p.m. on the 9th. Around 3,000 attendees gathered at the venue, including more than 100 active pastors from established Christian denominations.
Since American Southern Presbyterian missionaries settled in Jeonju in 1896 and established Seomun Church — the first church south of the Han River — the city has become deeply rooted in conservative theology, including orthodox Calvinism and strict Bible-centered doctrine, for nearly 130 years. Furthermore, through educational and medical institutions founded by missionaries, Presbyterian influence became firmly established throughout the local community, making Jeonju known as a region highly cautious toward other denominations or new theological interpretations.
Against this backdrop, the participation of large numbers of pastors from mainstream denominations at a Shincheonji seminar — a minority denomination — is being described as “highly unprecedented.” It also reflects the growing curiosity toward Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which continues to grow each year while many established churches decline, as well as the increasing spiritual thirst among pastors for the Word.
Chairman Lee Man-hee Lectures on the Fulfilled Reality of Revelation...
“This Person Is the Reality of Revelation and the Witness Who Saw and Heard All Its Fulfillment”

Chairman Lee Man-hee delivered a lecture on the prophecies and fulfilled realities of the Book of Revelation during the seminar held in Jeonju on the 9th.
The highlight of the event was Chairman Lee’s direct lecture on “the fulfilled realities of Revelation.” Chairman Lee stated that the prophecies of Revelation have been fulfilled in today’s era and revealed as reality. He described himself as “the reality of the prophecies of Revelation and the witness who directly saw and heard all of those realities.”
Chairman Lee explained, “God first prophesies, and when the appointed time comes, He fulfills those prophecies and reveals the reality. Just as Jesus came according to the promises of the Old Testament at the First Coming, every verse of Revelation will also appear in fulfilled reality,” emphasizing that “today is the time when Revelation is being fulfilled.”
He further stated, “The Bible says that anyone who adds to or takes away from Revelation will not enter heaven and will instead receive curses (Revelation 22:18–19). Therefore, no matter how faithfully one practices their faith, if they do not fully understand Revelation, they cannot enter heaven.” He urged believers to reflect deeply, asking themselves whether they truly are the person spoken of in Scripture and whether they have been created according to the written Word.
Chairman Lee also referred to the betrayer and destroyer prophesied in Revelation, explaining that “only by correctly identifying these realities can one avoid belonging to Satan’s side and instead go to the promised pastor and organization to receive salvation.”
In particular, speaking to established church pastors, he strongly remarked, “Titles such as theologian or doctor of theology are not what matter. If you have not seen the realities of Revelation yourself, how can you truly know them? And if you do not know them, how can you testify about them?” He encouraged pastors to humbly and honestly examine the fulfilled realities of Revelation.
“Pastors’ Forum” Breaks Down Denominational Walls… “The Accuracy of the Word Is the Health of the Church”
Immediately following the lecture, a “Pastors’ Forum” was held for attending ministers, further intensifying the atmosphere. During the approximately one-hour forum, moderated by a professional host, discussions focused on
- The causes of division within Christianity and the path toward unity
- The meaning of adding to or taking away from Revelation 22:18–19

More than 100 active pastors sought ways to break down denominational barriers and build solidarity.
In particular, pastors seriously reflected on the devastating impact that adding to or subtracting from God’s Word — beyond simple interpretative differences — can have on the entire faith community.
Participants shared experiences from their ministries and formed a strong consensus that “the accuracy of the Word is the health of the church.” Many also expressed that despite theological differences between denominations, returning solely to the biblical text itself could become the true starting point for genuine unity, deeply resonating throughout the forum.
“The Lifelong Burden of Revelation Has Been Lifted”…Pastors Show Strong Passion for Follow-Up Education

More than 3,000 believers, including over 100 active pastors, gathered at the Shincheonji Word Seminar in Jeonju on the 9th.
The follow-up Bible education courses attracted intense interest from pastors seeking truth. Pastor Kim Yo-han of the Presbyterian Church, who applied for the program, stated:
“The Book of Revelation had always felt like a lifelong assignment and burden to me. But through conversations during the forum, I realized pastors from other denominations shared the same concerns. Through this educational course, I want to learn the Bible accurately and teach it properly to my congregation.”
Another pastor who has ministered in the region for 30 years also commented:
“I was greatly impressed by how clearly the contents of Revelation were explained in a logical flow. I plan to further examine how this understanding can be applied in ministry.”
A pastor who had already signed an MOU for doctrinal exchange with Shincheonji Church of Jesus also shared his testimony:
“For years, it was difficult to explain the parables and symbols of Revelation in practical terms. But through doctrinal exchange, I came to understand that the events in Revelation correspond to actual times, places, and individuals. When I reflected this understanding in my sermons, church members responded enthusiastically, saying, ‘We never knew Revelation was such a concrete and detailed book.’”
Lee Yong-woo, leader of the Thomas Tribe of Shincheonji who hosted the event, stated:
“The voluntary participation of pastors from established churches and the active discussions during the forum clearly demonstrate the deep longing within the Christian community for the truth of God’s Word.”
He added:
“We will continue to transparently teach the Word and promote harmony with the Christian community in the Jeonbuk region, continuously expanding opportunities for pastors and believers to interact solely through the Bible.”
