Shincheonji Emphasizes Believers’ Mission in 2026: “Let Us Deliver God’s Light”

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Lee Man-hee, hereafter Shincheonji Church of Jesus), testified to the biblical meaning of the New Year’s Eve service and declared the completion of the mission for believers living in this era.

 

At midnight on January 1, Chairman Lee Man-hee led the New Year’s Eve service held at Shincheonji Yeongdeungpo Church and announced the slogan for 2026, referred to as the “Year of the Red Horse,” as the “Year of Mission Fulfillment.” He also testified to the mission of believers recorded in the book of Revelation and urged that this year be made a year in which that mission is fulfilled.

 

Chairman Lee explained, “The biblical New Year’s Eve is not simply about sending off one year and welcoming another, as the world defines it. Religiously, it signifies the end of one era and the beginning of a new era, and from God’s perspective, this is of greater significance.”

 

He added, “In Revelation chapter 6, an era ended with the falling of the sun, moon, and stars, and in Revelation chapter 7, a new era began with the sealing and creation of the twelve tribes,” stating, “Since the sealed twelve tribes of Revelation 7 have appeared in the world, the favorable time of New Year’s transition has come.” He also said that Revelation records God’s promise to achieve eternal life through the Tree of Life during this time.

 

Chairman Lee emphasized, “God said He would be with the twelve tribes in Revelation 7, so if one belongs to these twelve tribes, one can also attain eternal life,” adding, “Because people do not properly understand this, they say that one goes to heaven after death.”

 

He continued, “These twelve tribes are also the Tree of Life described in Revelation chapter 22, which bears twelve kinds of fruit each month,” and testified, “God promised to use this Tree of Life as a healing substance for the nations and to achieve eternal life.”

 

Chairman Lee stressed, “Shincheonji, which has mastered Revelation, is the reality of these twelve tribes and the Tree of Life.” He added, “Only the Tree of Life can save those who cannot enter heaven due to adding to or subtracting from Revelation,” and urged, “Therefore, we must fulfill the mission of this Tree of Life.”

 

Finally, he emphasized once again, “Let us spread this light (the Word) to the whole world,” and added, “So that others may see, hear, and understand this light, come under it, and become God’s family.”
