“I would like to have open conversations with pastors, and I want to know what they wish to ask me or what they may want to point out.”

On the 28th, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Lee Man-hee, hereafter Shincheonji Church of Jesus) held the “2026 Shincheonji Word Grand Seminar: Testimony on the Fulfillment Reality of Revelation” at the Bartholomew Tribe Yeongdeungpo Church, drawing strong attention from the Christian community.

The seminar was organized to clearly present to the public and pastors the prophecies of the Book of Revelation and their fulfilled reality, amid rapidly growing interest in Shincheonji both within and outside the Christian world. About 1,000 people attended, including approximately 400 pastors, and the event was broadcast live via a YouTube channel. Simultaneous interpretation was provided in seven languages, including English, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese.

Taking the stage, Chairman Lee emphasized that the words of Revelation are prophecies to be fulfilled in this era, stating, “Revelation is the path believers must walk. Let us follow this Word and reach heaven and salvation.” He added, “Revelation 22:18–19 says that if this Word (Revelation) is added to or taken away from, one cannot enter heaven and will be cursed. Since entry to heaven depends on this Word, we must be certain,” urging a faith grounded in the Bible.

Chairman Lee further stated, “If we become one through the Word, we will be of one heart. Let us become one within this Word and within God,” delivering a message of unity beyond denominational boundaries.3.jpg

The venue is filled with more than 1,000 attendees, including around 400 pastors.

In particular, the seminar highlighted cases of pastors from established denominations who had previously signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for “Word exchange” with Shincheonji Church of Jesus. One pastor (Mr. Oh) shared, “I carefully collected and reviewed letters and pamphlets sent by Shincheonji, and took notes while listening closely to Shincheonji’s public lectures on YouTube.” He continued, “I struggled with what to do for my congregation, but now I encourage them to attend Shincheonji’s mission center to learn.” He added, “What does the title of ‘pastor’ matter? If Shincheonji can fill what I lack, isn’t that a good thing?”

According to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the cumulative number of Word exchange MOUs signed as of last year reached 969 churches domestically and 14,347 churches across 89 countries overseas. Furthermore, through Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) involving signboard changes, 129 churches in Korea and 1,729 churches in 48 countries abroad have changed their affiliation to Shincheonji Church of Jesus. This is interpreted as a voluntary movement within the Christian community to restore the true essence of faith through unconditional Word exchange.

Following the lecture, a second session featured a roundtable discussion titled “Sharing Pastoral Ministry and Fellowship.” Pastors from established denominations, along with Shincheonji instructors and members, sat together to discuss thecurrent realities of the church and ministry, as well as the future direction of the Christian community.

The enthusiasm surrounding this seminar aligns with the recent rapid growth of Shincheonji Church of Jesus. In contrast to the general decline seen in established denominations, Shincheonji has demonstrated explosive growth, achieving the unprecedented milestone of “100,000 graduation ceremonies” three times.

A Shincheonji Church official stated, “This Word Grand Seminar was a meaningful platform for exchange, focused solely on confirming the true truth based on the Bible,” adding, “We will continue to share the revealed Word without conditions with all who seek to understand it with an open heart, and fulfill our role as light and salt in the community.”

As Shincheonji Church of Jesus continues its growth trajectory based on the popularization of the Word and global pastoral exchange, attention is focused on what kind of shift it may bring to the Christian community in the future.
